Frequently asked questions
Is Metro Cashe Management a licensed lender?
Yes. We are licensed under the Moneylenders Act 1951, Licence No. WL2572/10/01, regulated by KPKT.
How can I verify this company's licence?
Check via the KPKT i-KrediKom app, call us directly at 03-6279 9766, or visit our office and see the certificate on the wall. See our licence & safety page for the full guide.
Do I need to pay anything before a loan is approved?
No. We never charge an upfront fee or processing fee at any stage.
What documents do I need to apply?
Your IC, recent payslips (or an income statement if self-employed), and recent months of bank statements.
Can I apply fully online?
Not entirely. You can start an enquiry by phone, WhatsApp, or the form on this site, but documents and signing the agreement happen in person at our office — this protects your personal information.
How long does approval take?
It depends on how complete your documents are and when you can come to our office. We don't state a fixed approval timeframe.
What interest rate is charged?
Never above the statutory cap of 18%/year (unsecured) or 12%/year (secured). The actual product rate is confirmed in writing by our officer. Use the calculator on our interest rates page for an estimate.
Can I apply even if my credit record is imperfect?
We assess your current ability to repay, not just your past credit history — but approval is still subject to our officer's assessment at your appointment.
Do I need a guarantor?
It depends on the type and amount of loan you apply for. Our officer will let you know of any guarantor requirement during your appointment, before you make any commitment.
What are the minimum and maximum loan amounts offered?
Loan amounts are assessed individually based on your income and needs, not one fixed range for everyone. Our officer will discuss a suitable amount with you at your appointment.
What repayment tenures are offered?
Repayment tenure is agreed together at your appointment, based on the loan amount and your repayment ability — and stated clearly in the written agreement before you sign.
Can I repay early?
Ask our officer about early repayment at your appointment — this term will be stated clearly in the written agreement before you sign.
What happens if I make a late payment?
The late-payment policy will be clearly explained by our officer and stated in the written agreement before you sign.
Can I apply if I am self-employed?
Yes. We accept income statements and bank statements in place of payslips for self-employed applicants.
What is the difference between a secured and unsecured loan?
A secured loan requires collateral and is capped at 12%/year; an unsecured loan requires no collateral and is capped at 18%/year.
Is my personal information safe?
We don't accept uploads of sensitive documents (IC, payslips, bank statements) through this website — everything is collected in person. Our enquiry form requires clear PDPA consent before submission.
How do I reach you after office hours?
WhatsApp 016-407 9766 any time — our officer will reply the next business hour (Mon–Fri 9:00–18:00, Sat 9:00–13:00).
Do you have branches besides Bandar Saujana Putra?
The only registered office we confirm is at Jalan SP 1/1, Bandar Saujana Putra, Jenjarom. Any other address linked to our name should be verified directly with us before you trust it.
Do you offer business loans too?
Not currently — we focus solely on personal loans, so we can properly assess and support each application.
How do I know this is not a scam?
Verify our licence independently, never pay anything before a loan is disbursed, and call us directly at 03-6279 9766 if unsure. See our licence & safety page for the full guide.
